  1. The disbursal of the amount received by the beneficiary will be deposited in the Principal Account. The principal along with the monitoring committee will have the discretion to disburse either part/whole of the grant amount on actuals/after evaluating the invoices and bills.

  3. If the project has not yet been started and there is no CO-PI, it needs to be informed to the R and D Cell. The Amount released has to be surrendered back to KAHER. It cannot be transferred to another PI as the research idea may be of the original awardee.

    No, these expenses cannot be included in the grant budget. There are separate schemes to support both publication and patent, and these are available in KAHER. So the applicants can avail these benefits in those schemes.

  8. The methodology for these grants should be designed such that the existing infrastructure and equipment’s available in KAHER are being used for the study. Any new equipment’s need should go through the Registrar office, rather than applying for them in the grant.
